Sea salt origin
Solar-evaporated from Egypt's North Sinai coastline (El-Arish / Bardawil) and the Red Sea coastal salt pans near Ain Sokhna.
Egypt's average annual solar irradiance of 2,700 kWh/m² is among the highest on Earth — ideal for natural solar evaporation. The Bardawil Lagoon alone covers 165 km² of natural salt pans.
